Hi I'm Chuck Burns.

I have been driving diesel cars since 1986. My first diesel was a used Volvo wagon. It was a beautiful car. Black leather interior and all the power options a car could have. I have since become a loyal Volkswagen diesel owner. I am now driving my 5th VW diesel. I own a 2004 VW Jetta TDI wagon. The Volkswagen TDI engine revolutionized the diesel car industry. If the folks in America could just understand that if they drove the VW TDI there would be no fuel crisis. And the Volkswagen TDI is so clean that it is now available for sale in all 50 United States, even California which probably has the strictest polution requirements.

I routinely average 50 miles per gallon on the highway and 42 miles per gallon in the city. Sorry I am a Yank so I drive miles and not kilometers.
